Lawrence Millman, Author of “Fascinating Fungi of New England,” to Give a Free Mushroom Walk in Estabrook Woods

Join us for a mushroom foray in Estabrook Woods with mycologist and author Lawrence Millman.

As a mycologist, Millman has done fungal surveys in places as diverse as Honduras, Arctic Canada, Panama, East Greenland, Western Samoa, and Nantucket.

He has a mountain named after him in East Greenland and a doctorate from Rutgers University, but Millman feels more privileged by the mountain than the degree. Also, Millman has a velvet worm from Central America named after him. When not on the road, he lives in Cambridge, MA.
