Author Wen Stephenson will read from his new book, What We're Fighting for Now Is Each Other: Dispatches From the Front Lines of Climate Justice (Beacon Press), at St. Anne’s in-the-Fields, 147 Concord Road, Lincoln, MA 01773. A contributing writer at The Nation, Wen helped us to launch our new web site with "Essentially Revolutionary: Henry Thoreau's Radical Moment—and Ours," the inaugural essay of the Thoreau Society blog.

Now an independent journalist and climate activist, Wen was formerly an editor at the Atlantic and the Boston Globe, and he has also written about climate, culture, and politics for Slate, the New York Times, Grist, and the Boston Phoenix.
