Lawrence Millman, author of “Fascinating Fungi of New England,” to give a free mushroom walk in Estabrook Woods

Date:
October 26, 2017 - 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Location:
Estabrook Woods

As a mycologist, Millman has done fungal surveys in places as diverse as Honduras, Arctic Canada, Panama, East Greenland, Western Samoa, and Nantucket.

He has a mountain named after him in East Greenland and a doctorate from Rutgers University, but Millman feels more privileged by the mountain than the degree.  Also, Millman has a velvet worm from Central America named after him.  When not on the road, he lives in Cambridge, MA.
